HD Alliance Sets Holiday Campaign

October 29, 2009: The HD Radio Alliance will launch its holiday campaign on November 2, with 30-second spots that tell radio listeners, "If you're not giving an HD Radio receiver, they're not hearing HD Radio broadcasts. It's time to upgrade."

Holiday marketing for HD will also include in-store displays and other ads to, the alliance said "maximize this huge radio campaign." The spots, on more than 600 stations, will run through the end of the year.

Have you listened to an HD Radio station yet??
Someone who hasn't listened to it yet, is not qualified to call it a farce.

"HD Digital Radio Alliance crash-burns, but won't admit it"

"The story's really summed up in this sentence, that the Alliance's new radio-ad campaign will combat the mistaken perception by many consumers that they already own an HD Radio... The metaphor that comes to mind is that it's like the rats organizing and having a rally as the ship they're on slowly swirls through the whirlpool and into the briny depths."

Here, we go again - what a waste of time - LOL!
