Parker Named OM For CC/San Francisco

November 4, 2009: Don Parker is the newly named OM for Clear Channel/San Francisco, overseeing KIOI-FM, KISQ-FM, KKGN-AM, KKSF-FM, KMEL-FM, KNEW-AM and KYLD-FM.

Parker has spent the past four years heading up Parker Broadcasting Media Specialists and has also served as VP/Programming for NextMedia and programmed the former KCMG/Los Angeles, KKFR/Phoenix, and KTBZ/Houston.

"Don brings a wide range of major-market experience to this role as well as a deep understanding of the San Francisco market," CC/San Francisco President/Market Manager Dave Pugh said. "We're looking forward to his perspective and impact on building our strong portfolio of radio and online brands."

Director Of Sales Planning

Looking for an "experienced media executive" to lead a sales planning group at a leading Radio Network. Responsibilities include: managing utilization of weekly sponsorship inventory across 150 markets, overall yield management strategy and execution, working with sales force of over 100 sales reps to formulate and negotiate ad proposals for local, regional and national sponsorships, coordination with Traffic Department on entry and scheduling, as well as formulation of other policies, practices and strategies to support and drive ad sales.
