November 4, 2009: Entravision Communications reports that its net revenues were $50.8 million in the third quarter of this year, down 17 percent from $61 million in the same quarter a year ago. Consolidated adjusted EBITDA was $17.3 million, down 18 percent from $21.1 million.

Free cash flow in the quarter was $5.1 million, down 42 percent from $8.8 million, with net income at $673,000 (1 cent per share), compared to a net loss of $354.5 million ($3.98). Entravision's operating expenses in the quarter were $30.6 million, down 17 percent from $37 million.

"Our third-quarter financial results continue to be impacted by the recession and the challenging advertising environment," Entravision Chairman/CEO Walter Ulloa said. "We remain focused on managing our costs and maximizing our cash flows. Our television and radio operations continue to deliver solid ratings in the nation's most densely populated Hispanic markets. We believe that we are well positioned to benefit when the economy recovers, given the strength of our brands and our ability to deliver the valuable Hispanic audience to advertisers."
