Bill White Tapped As Greater Media/Charlotte OM

November 5, 2009: Greater Media has promoted Bill White to OM in Charlotte, overseeing Talk WBT-AM & FM and SC WLNK-FM. He moves up from director of programming and news at WBT-AM & FM, a host he's held for the past nine years. White has also programmed stations in Charlotte, Pittsburgh, and Columbus.

White said, "I am thrilled at the opportunity to enhance my role at Greater Media Charlotte in working with some of the best talent in the market on WBT-AM & FM and WLNK."

With the change, Carl East moves up from APD to PD of WBT-AM & FM. He's been APD for the past 11 years. Neal Sharpe remains as programmer of WLNK.

Looking for an "experienced media executive" to lead a sales planning group at a leading Radio Network. Responsibilities include: managing utilization of weekly sponsorship inventory across 150 markets, overall yield management strategy and execution, working with sales force of over 100 sales reps to formulate and negotiate ad proposals for local, regional and national sponsorships, coordination with Traffic Department on entry and scheduling, as well as formulation of other policies, practices and strategies to support and drive ad sales.
