Beasley/Ft. Myers Ups Garrett, Cassio To PD

November 6, 2009: Beasley ups two to PD posts in Ft. Myers, freeing up two other programmers to focus on single stations. At Alternative WJBX Zito & Garrett morning co-host Bob Garrett adds PD duties, taking over from Matt Johnson, who keeps the PD slot at Top 40 WXKB.

In Naples, John Cassio, who produces Miller & Moulton in afternoons on Sports WWCN (770 ESPN Radio), adds programming duties. He succeeds Mark "Steele" Matthews, who remains PD at Classic Rock WRXK.

Garrett & Zito have been in wakeups on 99X since 2003; before that, Garrett was MD/on-air at WEBN/Cincinnati. Cassio has been APD/producer of Miller & Moulton since 2006.

Responsibilities include: managing utilization of weekly sponsorship inventory across 150 markets, overall yield management strategy and execution, working with sales force of over 100 sales reps to formulate and negotiate ad proposals for local, regional and national sponsorships, coordination with Traffic Department on entry and scheduling, as well as formulation of other policies, practices and strategies to support and drive ad sales.
