Ulloa, Austin Join NABEF Board

November 6, 2009: The NAB Education Foundation's board of directors has three new members: Entravision Communications Chairman/CEO Walter Ulloa, Sheridan Broadcasting SVP/CFO Susan Davenport Austin, and ZGS Communications Station Group President Julissa Marenco.

Ulloa, a 30-year-plus broadcast-industry veteran, heads up Entravision's 51 radio and 48 TV stations. Austin, who's been with Sheridan since 2002, before that served as VP in the communications, media, and entertainment group at Goldman Sachs. She's appeared on Radio Ink's list of the Most Influential Women in Radio.

Before moving into her current post with ZGS, Marenco was a White House Fellow as part of the leadership and public service program. She is also NABEF fellow.

Director Of Sales Planning

Looking for an "experienced media executive" to lead a sales planning group at a leading Radio Network. Responsibilities include: managing utilization of weekly sponsorship inventory across 150 markets, overall yield management strategy and execution, working with sales force of over 100 sales reps to formulate and negotiate ad proposals for local, regional and national sponsorships, coordination with Traffic Department on entry and scheduling, as well as formulation of other policies, practices and strategies to support and drive ad sales.
