Genesis Launches 'Mega Memories' On WHBO/Tampa
TAMPA -- December 29, 2008: Genesis Communications has launched a music format on formerly Sports WHBO in Tampa, adding ABC Radio's Timeless Music programming. The new "Mega Memories" on Tampa will soon make an announcement on local air talent.
"It is the greatest mix of music from an era of America's best music on Mega Memories AM 1470," said Genesis EVP Luis Albertini. "The format features superstars such as Barry Manilow, Barbra Streisand, The Carpenters, Simon & Garfunkel, Perry Como, and, of course, Frank Sinatra. This addition to our News/Talk and Sports stations gives our company the best three radio stations in Tampa Bay to meet the 25-64 demo. Our advertisers are delighted with the additional distribution opportunity to advertise their products and services."
Genesis also has News/Talk WMGG and Sports WWBA in the market.
