NEW YORK -- December 23, 2008: Moody's Investors Service has downgraded Sirius XM Radio to Ca from Caa1, pointing to debt coming due and liquidity issues, CBS Marketwatch reports.

WHITE PLAINS, NY -- December 23, 2008: Media Monitors reports that Wal-Mart bought the most radio spots for December 12-15, followed by Verizon and the HD Digital Radio Alliance.

29. Bonneville/St. Louis Gets The Rams
ST. LOUIS -- December 23, 2008: Bonneville St. Louis Radio Group signs a two-year deal for broadcast radio rights for the NFL's St. Louis Rams.

NEW YORK -- December 22, 2008: Westwood One's Metro Traffic has made a partnership deal to integrate TrafficLand Inc. video traffic info into reports, alerts, and speed and flow updates. Metro also becomes TrafficLand's exclusive rep to broadcasters.

35. Nasdaq Asks SEC To OK Delisting Delay
NEW YORK -- December 22, 2008: Nasdaq has asked the Securities and Exchange Commission for permission to extend its temporary suspension on delistings. Radio companies including SBS and Regent have received delisting warnings from the exchange.

NEW YORK -- December 22, 2008: CBS Radio continues to make good on its plan to sell stations in midsized markets, with an agreement to sell Country KWLI, AC KIMN, and Classic Hits KXKL in Denver to Wilks Broadcasting for $19.5 million.

38. Atlanta Gets A New ESPN Outlet
ATLANTA -- December 22, 2008: As of Tuesday, Dickey Broadcasting's Talk WFOM/Atlanta will go Sports as an ESPN affiliate, joining ESPN clustermate WCNN as an added outlet for play-by-play.

39. WW1 To Debut Fred Thompson Show In March
NEW YORK -- December 22, 2008: Former senator Fred Thompson will join the everyday lineup at Westwood One in March, taking the slot formerly filled by Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor.

40. Revenue Falls 20 Percent In November
NEW YORK -- December 22, 2008: Radio revenue fell by 20 percent in November, the RAB reports, with local down 21 percent and national off a startling 24 percent. The falloff follows a 10 percent decline in October.
